Dr. Javier Cuevas Marrero, MD
For me, the most important thing is to take care of the essence and well-being of all our patients and offer the best possible environment so that both patients and clinic employees feel in total well-being.
Dr. Javier Cuevas, MD
Javier Cuevas, MD, has been a licensed Pediatrician from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus since 2000. He has worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at San Jorge Children’s Hospital, Metro-Pavía Health System, Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, among several other hospitals. His passion for helping others live better led him to create Wellness Architects.
Since 2015, Dr. Cuevas has wanted to help people to feel and look better. For that reason, he began his Anti-Aging practice at Wellness Architects. As he said, avoiding the aging process is impossible, but we can age healthily. Later, Dr. Cuevas became a certified physician with Advanced Fellowship Training in Age Management Medicine Therapy from the Age Management Medicine Education Foundation and the Age Management Medicine Group. Cuevas finished a second certification in Age Management Medicine with Dr. Neal Rouzier, M.D., at World Link Medical at the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah.
At Wellness Architects, the three significant components assessed in Anti-Aging are Nutrition, Exercise, and Hormonal Balance. Dr. Cuevas will evaluate each component and design a plan tailored to each individual’s needs.
Currently, he continues to work as a Pediatrician and visits hospitals daily to contribute his knowledge in improving the quality of life of children and young people. Also, he serves as President and doctor of direct patient care at Wellness Architects.
Dr. Cuevas is a philanthropist, and through the years, he has been characterized by the “love of man” in multiple ways. People around him witnessed his passion for selflessly helping the needy. He belonged to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where he helped make wishes come true. He played an instrumental role in the missions organized after Hurricane Maria to take doctors to inaccessible areas of the island and provide the emergency medical attention needed on the mainland, as well as the Island Municipality of Vieques. He has collaborated with the San Jorge Children’s Hospital and the Caritas Alegres Foundation, among others.
The most important thing for Dr. Cuevas is to care for the essence and well-being of all patients, and at Wellness Architects, we lead by his example.
